Happy Saturday!

Just 4 You box Hello all! Ok, so as I mentioned yesterday I am going to be sharing this Super Cute and Fun box!

I will also be working on a video for it too and a PDF File unless I can do a mini tutorial. Might be to many photos. I'm working on a few other videos also.

Everything used here is retired expect the stamp set and the punches.

Just 4 you box open I LOVE the Bella Rose Paper and I have lots of it! ; ) Anyway, this box was inspired last weekend as I was making my Chili Cheese Dip for the catalog party I had. I was tossing the cream cheese that I use and glimpsed that box and thought HMMMM….well i took it apart fixed the measurements a bit and this is what I got!

It is the perfect sized box for that Chocolates of course or that bracelet and earring set etc. It's super easy to make! Well as always if you have any questions don't hesitate to email or cal me.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stampin',

Page Corner Book-marker Mini Tutorial

Ok, here it is as promised!  Let me know if you have any questions at all! I have to warn  you these are super addicting.  I found the pattern in our monthly Stampin' Success Magazine we get and I just adjusted the measurements just to make it that much more easier.  Enjoy!

Pgcbm-1
First you'll want to start with a 4 x 4 sheet of cardstock. Want it smaller? Just adjust the size..I also did one 3 x 3 which came out cute for your smaller paperback books.

Mark 3 sides with a little dot in the center. In this sample I marked at 2 inches.

Pgcbm-2

Now you are going to take your ruler and bone folder and make a score line from the center of to the side.

You can also use your Paper Cutter for this part too.  Just make sure you put your scoring tool in there or use you bone folder.

Pgcbm-3
Now fold down both sides and this is how your piece will look.

Now I added a piece of cardstock to cover the line in the back.

To do this I just measured the part that was just scored and for this 4 x 4 size I got 2 3/4, so cut a square 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 and cut in half.

Pgcbm-4

You will have this triangle piece and you'll then put adhesive on the back of it and place it on top of the book marker.

Make sure that if you end up with a gap where the cardstock meets, you want to make sure that you don't get any adhesive on the inside where the page will go.

Pgcbm-5
Here is what the finished piece looks like after you place the triangle part on it.

See no line! Love this cute little project. Perfect for school age kids and Great Teacher Gifts too!

My 1st Hinge Card

Lots of Bots Hinge Wow, Thursday already hope your week has been going well.

Well I've been editing, taking photos, RE-taking photos, stampin', getting ready for my Catalog Kick off..Yes, I've been super busy.

I have been wanting to do this card for awhile now.  It's called the Hinge Card.  I saw it in our Stampin' Success leaflet we get as Demo's every month! Great samples and it always has great little "WOW" features.

So last weekend I was going through my scraps, BOY, I've got tons!  So I'm using them up. This is  what I came up with.  I just HAD to use Stampin' Up!s new set "Lots of Bots".  I really LOVE this set.  I played with it lots yesterday.

Ok, so below is what it looks like open! This is super easy to do to. Which I like. What did I use?

Lots of Bots Hinge Open Card Recipe

Stamp Set: Lot's of Bots #115293
Ink: Black Staz-on
Cardstock: Kraft, So Saffron, Regal Rose, Whisper White
Accessories: Regal Rose Grograin Ribbon, SU Markers, Brad, Scallop edge punch, White gel pen

*All supplies used are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.

Measurements you ask? Here goes:

Background piece (Kraft here) is the standard card size 4 1/4 x 5 1/2

The top half which is So Saffron is 4 1/4 x 3, the botton half which is Certainly Celery is is the say size 4 1/4 x 3.  Ok, now stamp your image and matt it as desired. What I did for the message on the Kraft piece I placed the Certainly Celery on the bottom and used it as a guide and Stamped my Greeting.  Use the Scallop Edge punch if desired on your bottom piece.

Now to create the hinged front, Ppace the scallop edge of the Certainly Celery card stock over the bottom of the So Saffron card stock, overlapping it about 1/2". Punch a hole through both layers using your 1/16" punch or paper piercing tool then attach your brad.

Now adhere the bottom and sides of the Certainly Celery piece onto your background piece..here the Kraft piece. Don't adhere the So Saffron piece (top) or your card won't move. Tuck that piece under the Celery piece.

Now just slide the So Saffron card up and to the left to reveal your message. Voila!

Hope this made sense…if not please let me know I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.  Thanks for stopping by!

Razzle Dazzle meets the Sizzix Cake Die….

Hello all I meant to post this yesterday and never got back on the computer.  LONG day!   Ok, so I've been playing with my Big Shot and the Lucky Die over the weekend was #116760 – Pop-Up Three Tier Cake Die…the Bigz xl dies.  I am SOOO loving this die.  This is my 2nd creation and am getting used to it.  Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

DSC02552 Ok, I also have to admit I'm truly loving this DSP too.

Card Recipe:

Stamp Set: Razzle Dazzle (116714), Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370)
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Razzleberry Lemonade, Whisper White
Accessories: Sizzix Dies – (116760) Pop-Up 3 tier cake, (113468) Scallop Circle, Modern Label Punch (116630), Word Window Punch (105090), 1 3/4 cirlce punch

DSC02554

Ok, now here is it open, you see the top of the cake, I used the 1 3/4" circle punch and it fit perfect!  SO…I then got the bright idea to, on the next card of course, to do the rest of the layers this way.  I saw this in the Stampin' Success magazine that we get every month and when I REALLY looked at the card I noticed it and thought…HMM how did they do that? Of course I read that the Circle Scissors plus was used after I had already put it all together.  Hey but they didn't use the 1 3/4 inch circle punch for the Top Layer which as I mentioned is a perfect fit.  Check out the photo below of a close up shot.

As always if you have any quesitons please let me know.

It’s good to Dream….

Wow what happened??? Man, I get home and it's just go…go..go all week long. From Kindergarten Dr.s Appt., my poor baby had 3 shots : (, then he had a Dental, Birthday Party at Chuckies (couldn't miss that) oh and in between all of this I was catching up on house stuff. UGH! But sometimes being a Mom and a wife need to come first. I need a vacation from my vacation! LOL!

BUT I did manage to get some stampin done!  I know when.  I also had to do some MAJOR re-organizing.  Which is always a work in progress. BUT I feel so much better.  Ok, so please accept my apologies while trying to balance all this and now on to the first card with my new goodies. Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by.

Its good to dream card It's good to dream card

Ok, so here I am using all the new In-Color, Colors. I was so not sure about these colors this time around as I find them somewhat BOLD and out of my comfort zone. Not all but most. So for starters I came up  with this simple card. I have to say I'm really liking the New DSP too!

Recipe:

Stamp Set: Razzle Dazzle # 116714
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, DSP Razzleberry Lemonade.
Accessorie: Scallop Oval Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Large Oval punch, White Gel pen and Crushed Curry 1/2 inch Polka Dot Grograin Ribbon.

Ok, so check back tomorrow for some more samples and the new Stampin' Up! Deal of the Week. I will not be MIA this week I promise. ; )
