Magical Day Card

It’s been way to long since I shared any kind of of anything lately! To say it’s been crazy around this house is an understatement! But things are getting to be some what less hectic. If that’s even possible! LOL!

Wanted to share this Card I made for my Granddaughters 1st Birthday! She’s my little Mermaid! I used the Magical Day stamp set by Stampin’ Up! which is now retired. You could say this whole card is using retired product. BUT I LOVE these colors and I love Mermaids.

Looking forward to getting back into my stampin…it’s been way to long! Stay tuned as I’ll be sharing another Card that I made for my Grandson’s 3rd Birthday. Just a hint he LOVES Dino’s!

Happy Mother’s Day…

First I want to wish all the Mom’s out there a Happy Mother’s day!
I know it’s been WAY to long! So much has been going on over the last year with work, family my kids and grandkids that I had to put things on hold. Not ALL the way on hold just a little bit! I’m still stampin’ and will be doing more things with that. Updating my videos for one!

But things will be changing as I get into the swing of things. Next month we start with the NEW Stampin’ Up! Catty! I’ve got to say WOW! Just WOW! Lot’s of changes but one thing that doesn’t change is ALL the awesome colors and stamp sets and accessories Stampin’ Up! has to offer!

A Note of Thanks….

So I needed to make some 3 x 3 Note cards and was inspired by a card a saw on Pinterest by Tracy May – so these are what I came up with!

Love ALL the color combos and how extremely FAST these were to make! The Butterfly punch is retired but you can use the Butterflies Thinlits also.

I used the Work of Art, Swirly Bird and Thankful Thoughts stamp set all by Stampin’ Up! Want to know how I made them please ask!

Sunset Mermaid Card #6

Good Morning and Happy Saturday! Welcome to Day #6 of Mermaid Week!

Today’s card was inspired by another Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (Lisa LoPresti Curcio). She did a Beautiful Card using the New stamp set “Fabulous Flamino” from Stampin’ Up! When I saw her card it was just breath taking. Don’t have that set “YET” so of course what came to mind???

Yes my current obsession “Magical Mermaid”! So here is what I created! I did get a little heavy handed with the Tango Tangerine BUT it was to late! I will be doing this one again!

I ended up LOVING the final results though! There is something about it that just draws me in!

Here is a close up! Makes me want to go to the beach and watch the sunset! Here are the materials I used.

I stamped the scenery 1st then embossed. After that I sponged some extra color in the background! I really like how this came out! Materials are listed below.
