A Note of Thanks….

So I needed to make some 3 x 3 Note cards and was inspired by a card a saw on Pinterest by Tracy May – so these are what I came up with!

Love ALL the color combos and how extremely FAST these were to make! The Butterfly punch is retired but you can use the Butterflies Thinlits also.

I used the Work of Art, Swirly Bird and Thankful Thoughts stamp set all by Stampin’ Up!  Want to know how I made them please ask!

As always – Thanks for stopping by and…

Sunset Mermaid Card #6

Good  Morning and Happy Saturday! Welcome to Day #6 of Mermaid Week!

Today’s card was inspired by another Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (Lisa LoPresti Curcio). She did a Beautiful Card using the New stamp set “Fabulous Flamino” from Stampin’ Up! When I saw her card it was just breath taking.  Don’t have that set “YET” so of course what came to mind???

Yes my current obsession “Magical Mermaid”!   So here is what I created!  I did get a little heavy handed with the Tango Tangerine BUT it was to late! I will be doing this one again!

I ended up LOVING the final results though!  There is something about it that just draws me in!

Here is a close up! Makes me want to go to the beach and watch the sunset!  Here are the materials I used.

Magical Mermaid Card #4

Well it’s officially still Thursday and so I’m here with Card #4 of Mermaid Week!

I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest for this card. I haven’t done the “Sponging Technique” in AGES it seems.  So I’m pretty pleased with how this one came out.

Using Emerald Envy Ink and stamped the image in Calypso Coral.  How FUN is this card!  Of course I used the Magical Mermaid Set too!  I don’t know there is just something about this set that I just LOVE!  Well until tomorrow thanks for stopping by and as always….

Do you want to be a part of “Her World?”

Seriously don’t you want to be apart of her world? Doesn’t she remind you of a Little Mermaid named “Ariel”! Could it be the reddish hair?  So again  using the “Magical Mermaid” Stamp set by Stampin’ Up! ( 144-017) I created this card!  I’m seriously obsessed with this set!  I’ve also used the Tranquil Tide Cardstock, Tranquil Tide, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake and Black Archival Inks.   Wink of Stella, Blenders pens too!  Oh and Circle Punches, 1 1/4 & 1 3/8.

As you know from my last post I’ve got more Mermaids coming! I might make this Magical Mermaid week!  That sounds like a plan.  I mean after all I do have 8 or more to go! LOL!  Ok, this is my 3rd post for today! I’ll post more tomorrow – I mean after all this is Mermaid week!

Thanks for stopping by and as always……

Magical Mermaid Madness

Yes another post today! I might even have another one this evening!  I have to say this NEW Stamp Set “Magical Mermaid” from Stampin’ Up! (144-017) is becoming one of my favorites! Yes I do have many and in the next few weeks I’m sure you’ll see which ones they are!  But I don’t know  something about this set is just so “Magical”. No pun intended.  I’ve always LOVED Mermaids as many girls have and still do! Working with this set has brought out the “little girl” in me I guess!  It’s an absolutely ADORABLE set and the possibilities are endless!

The colors above are  from Stampin’ Up!’s In-Colors – New this 2017/2018 Tranquil Tide (perfect for ALL things Mermaid or Beachy) then the previous years In-Color Peek-a-Boo Peach! How about the new Embossing Folder called “Ruffled” (143-699). Loving it!  I was inspired from a “Pin” on Pinterest from “Stampin Fee” and a few others. I’ve created a Board which you can see HERE just for this stamp set!  I’ll have to add my own creations to it also!

As you can see with this photo I might have a slight “obsession” with this stamp set!

Seriously? How fun are ALL these colors?  I’m just playing around with single colors – I’m going to be mixing it up with several colors. The possibilities are endless with this set.

Since this photo I’ve already finished up and cut out the Mermaids! So I’ll post a little later my creations!

As always – Thanks for stopping by and have a “Magical Day”! Hee Hee – AND…….

Miracles Happen

Before signing off for the evening I wanted to share another swap I got from Leadership. It's from Marlene Salvato. I shared a couple other swaps from her which you can see on this post HERE. I love how Sweet and Simple yet Elegant this card looks!

MSalvato SwapI tried to get the best picture but was having difficulties!

It's Whisper White Background with Whisper White Layer embossed with the new Cloudy Day embossing folder #127022 and Stampin' Up!s New stamp set called Rain or Shine #126-775 (w) or 126-777 (c) which can be found in the Spring Catalog and available til May 31st, 2013.

Well I plan on playing around this weekend! I've got lots of scraps laying around in neat piles and I really need to do something with them. That is one of my resolutions this year.  Use up the images, scraps and what not I've got.  Check back on Sunday to see what I've done!  Thanks for stopping by and as always…
