Gift Card Holder Graduation Card

Grad Owl Gift Card Holder Hello all and Happy Monday!  Ok, I've got YET another Owl Graduation Card. I LOVE this lil Owl and as I mentioned VERY addicting to make too.

ALL Supplies are the same as the Post below..colors, ink etc.  Except I used Bold Numbers set which is retired.

Now to make the Card Hold the Gift Card I used a 12 x 12 sheet of Cardstock.  I cut it 4 1/4 x 12 then I scored it at 5 1/2 and 11.  The extra inch you will bring it up to the inside of your card and that will hold the gift card. Woo Hoo!  Love this Idea!

Also I wanted to add a HUGE Thank you to those who leave me comments..I so appreciate them and SO glad you like my cards/projects.  Thanks for visiting my Blog!

Grad Owl Gift Card Holder Inside Now back to stampin', my son is at Grandma's house so I need to take advantage. LOL!!! But if you have any questions please don't hesitate to comment, call or email me.

Happy Stampin',

Look “Hoo’s” Graduating…

Graduation Owl Card Ok, so it's been a super long weekend and I did get LOTS done! I am really liking how this card came out! Guess what?? It's not a Side or Stair Step Card! LOL!!!  My friend Sharon has crowned me not only "Queen" of step cards but I am now the "Ambassador" per her comment on the post below. LOL!!  I Love it…Oh and yes she will be right behind me. You've got to check out her card HERE! Ok, so where was I???

Oh, yes this card was a fun one to make using Stampin' Up!'s great punches. Again I'm using my daughter's School colors.  I got this idea from our Stampin' success magazine we get every month. There was the cute lil "Owl" staring at me ; ) it was created by Lyssa Zwolanek. Be on the look out for more of this little guy as He is very addicting to make. Next time I make him his feet are going to be either Only Orange or Pumpkin pie. I think the Tango Tangerine is too Orangey? Or is it just me? Hmmm!!!!

Supplies used: All Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted

Stamp Set: Great Grads
Cardstock: Bravo Burgundy, Going Gray, Basic Black, Whisper White, So saffron (beak), Tango Tangerine (feet), Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa
Ink: Basic Black, Basic Gray
Accessories: Grograin Ribbon, SU Punches – Scallop, 1 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 (retired) circle punches, Small Tag, Boho Blossoms (feet), 5-petal Flower (beak), Round Tab & word window, Dimensionals

Ok, I think that's it. Back to more stampin!

Thanks for stopping by & Happy Stampin',

Graduation “Side” Step Card

Grad Side Step Card Happy Saturday All!  Well I've been busy over the last week! ; )  As I mentioned I'm getting ready for the Vista "Chocolate Festival".

So anyways in between all that I'm making Grad Cards for my Daughter to see which one she likes..and with Graduation just around the corner.. .YIKES! I'll be up late these next few weeks.

Ok, so on with the details of this card. Super fun and once you do a few very easy to make.

Everything used is Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted!

Stamp Set: Great Grad & (retired) Bold numbers! LOVE these numbers!
Card-stock: Bravo Burgundy, Going Gray, Whisper White
Ink: Bravo Burgundy, Going Gray & Basic Black
Accessories: SU! Punches, Big Shot Bigz Pennant Die, DD Glitter, Ribbon

I would LOVE to see your creations! Download Directions HERE!  As I mentioned before the directions I got from Kate Wilson & Jackie Topa's site!  OH – Quick Tip you want to make the Slit First…so you would have the 5 1/2 side up against your cutter and line it up to the 2…then go down to 2 1/8 start your slit and end at 7 1/2.  I hope that made sense! If not email me with any questions you may have!

Ok, on my way to a Birthday Party!

Have a great day & Happy Stampin',

Cheep Talk Stair Step Card

DSC02066
Happy Friday!  So are you sick of these yet?  LOL!  Yes, I'm addicted!  I LOVE this stamp set and the Designer Series Paper!

So I've got a few tips on these cards. I had given 2 different measurements that I found most popular. 1 was the 4 1/4 x 10 1/2 and the other was the 5 x 10 1/2…I also know you can make it 5 1/2 x 10 1/2 and it will fit in the envelope perfect.

Ok, so the 4 1/4 size when you go to decorate the back flap if your embelishments are to heavy it doesn't stand up as straight.  The 5 or the 5 1/2 size is a bit more sturdy because it's wider.

These also work up pretty fast when you use Designer Series Paper!

CCake Stair Step

Here is another one with a very simple layout using the Big Shot sizzlets Dies. LOVE these dies!

I have a few more to share then I promise I'll move on to something else! ; )

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Stampin',

Hello All!  Ok FIRST I have to say that there is an error on the directions!  So sorry about that! I have it corrected.   Download Stair Step Card Directions w photo! The only part that was wrong was the Back Layer to the card..I have 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and it shold of been 5 not 5 1/2.

Ok, so for this one I used the following:

Stamp Set: Great Grads
C/S: Bravo Burgundy, Going Grey & Whisper White
Ink: Black, Bravo Burgundy
Accessories: SU! Punches, Ribbon, Brads and dimensionals.OH and of course Dazzling Diamond Glitter! Gotta have it.

These are my daughters school colors and this is 1 of her graduation photos. UGH! I still can't believe it!  Ok, so stay tuned tomorrow for a few more samples and tips that I'd like to share with you.  Right now it's time to get the little on in bed…I've been gone just about all day.
